Past Present Potential is an ongoing body of work exploring memory, identity, motherhood and belonging.
Through collage, I combine animals, flowers and found imagery to create symbolic portraits that reflect different aspects of self. Each piece begins with a question about what we inherit, what we carry and what we are becoming.

BELONG

For much of my life I felt caught between places. Too South African here, too British there. This piece grew from the realisation that belonging isn't something I need to find somewhere else. It's something I am learning to create for myself.
